Maternity cover: Programme Design and Delivery Specialist

The Mental Health Foundation promotes the mental health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders by making mental health and wellbeing everyone’s business and creating a society where all people flourish.

We are looking for an experienced Programme Design and Delivery Specialist to evaluate, design and deliver Pink Shirt Day and other MHF programmes/projects focused on promoting positive mental health, developing supportive communities and preventing suicide.

Based at the Mental Health Foundation's Auckland office, you will work closely with colleagues, communities and partner organisations to design and deliver health promotion programmes that are responsive, relevant and contribute to the wellbeing and mental health of all New Zealanders.

You will have proven project management experience as well as experience working in relation to mental health or bullying prevention issues in the areas of public health, mental health, education, social development or other relevant sectors.

Additionally you have experience of contract management, project and budget management and have designed and delivered projects/programmes at a national level.

While not essential it would be beneficial for you to have experience working with NGOs.

Key to your success will be your proven stakeholder management skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and outstanding project/programme management skills.

You are skilful at sourcing, identifying and developing relationships both internally and externally and have well developed critical analysis skills that enable you to relate to multiple perspectives.

This is a maternity cover contract for six months, ideally starting in late May 2016.
