We’re wishing all who celebrate a very Meri Kirihimete and a wonderful holiday season. The Mental Health Foundation is now closed until Monday 18th January. It has been a huge year for our amazing kaimahi and we are closing down completely for just over three weeks to give all our wonderful team a well-deserved break so we can come back in 2021 ready to return to our important mahi refreshed and reinvigorated. We’re not a service provider, so our close-down doesn’t impact anyone who needs mental health services. It does mean our resource and information service will be closed, and we won’t be posting out resources or answering enquiries. Thank you so much for your support this year. It has been such a privilege to have stood alongside you as we got through 2020 together, Aotearoa. We’ll be back in 2021 to face the new year together, too. See you then. Arohanui.
PS: We know the holiday season can be tough! If you need to talk, the trained counsellors at 1737 are there for you whenever you need them. Free call/text them anytime. It’s totally free and confidential. Other helplines are also still available through the holidays, and you can still reach out to your GP or local mental health service for support, or for advice from a registered nurse call Healthline on 0800 611 116.
