Our Information Service provides free support materials for anyone who is going through a difficult time, or for people who are supporting someone they love and care about.

We have information officers who are on hand during working hours to answer your calls, live chat and emails.

It's important to note we don't offer a counselling or clinical service, neither can we recommend GPs or counsellors, but we can point you in the right direction to get the help you need. We also assist those working in the mental health sector to find books, research and resources to help with professional practice.


Call one of our information officers on 09 623 4812, and chat confidentially. They are experienced at answering questions about where to find information about mental illness and mental wellbeing.

Our A to Z details the condition, its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatments, support groups, and how to look after yourself or a loved one with that disorder.

Our website has a national support group database and each mental health topic lists specific support groups to make it easier for you to find one near you. For those working in the mental health sector, we help find books, research and resources to help with professional practice.
